Auditions for the 2024-2025 Maryland Dance Team will take place in Spring 2024.

DATE & TIME: April 28, 2024, 12pm-7pm

What to Bring:

• Medical Waiver

• Headshot

• Water bottle/snacks

• Sports bra/top

• Booty shorts (tights if you would like)

• Full performance hair (curled)

• Full performance make up (red lipstick, lashes)

• Performance Earrings*

• Sneakers

• Closed toe jazz shoes

*If you do not have performance earrings, just wear small studs*

Approximate Schedule:

• 12:00PM - Registration

• 12:30PM - Review choreography learned at prep classes

• 2:00/2:30PM - First round begins (skills and first routine)

• Approximately 3:30PM* - Second round begins (remaining routines)

• Approximately 4:30PM* - Third round begins (new choreography learned on the spot)

*Starred times are estimates. Tryouts can take as few as 2 hours or as many as 7 hours to complete. Please plan accordingly.*

• New Choreography (taught day of by our choreographer)

• Flexibility

• Special Tricks (front/side aerial, back handspring, tumbling, etc)
