ABOUT

The Maryland Dance Team is proud to entertain audiences at all Terrapin home football and basketball games! These young ladies bring excitement, energy, and enthusiasm to numerous athletic events, campus activities, and community functions throughout the year.   The dance team incorporates all styles of dance including hip hop, jazz, poms, studio and cheer dance.  The Maryland Dance Team has performed at the Orange and Gator Bowls, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Disney World, and most recently at the Foster Farms Bowl, Levi Stadium in San Francisco. Together with the Maryland Marching Band, they spent a week in New Orleans building houses for Habitat for Humanity, after Hurricane Katrina.

Football Season
The Maryland Dance Team brings spirit and pageantry to game days in College Park.  They appear in numerous university traditions including "Terp Town", Pregame and Halftime performances with the Mighty Sound of Maryland Marching Band. Whether cheering from the sidelines or dancing center field during the third quarter time out, they are an integral part of Maryland Athletics!

Basketball Season
The Maryland Dance Team performs at every home game on the Maryland Men’s Basketball schedule.  Catch their crowd pleasing time-out performances center court or on the sidelines!
