Auditions for the 2026-2027 Maryland Dance Team will take place on April 26th, 2026.

TIME: Registration begins at 9am

What to Bring:

• Medical Waiver

• Social Media Consent Form

• Headshot

• Water bottle/snacks

• Sports bra/top

• Booty shorts (tights if you would like)

• Full performance hair (curled)

• Full performance make up (red lipstick, lashes)

• Performance Earrings*

• Sneakers

• Closed toe jazz shoes

*If you do not have performance earrings, just wear small studs*

Approximate Schedule:

• 10:00am-5:00pm*

*Starred times are estimates. Tryouts can take as few as 2 hours or as many as 7 hours to complete. Please plan accordingly.*

• Front Leap (Right & Left) 

• Side Leap (Right & Left) 

• Calypso (Right & Left)

• Fouettes 

• Double, Triple Pirouettes

• Toe Touch

• Head Spring

• Kip Up

• Flexibility

• Improv/Special Tricks (front/side aerial, back handspring, tumbling, etc)
